Syed Mohammed Aziz-un-Nabi also known as Mohammed Aziz  Playback Singer born 2nd July died 27th of November (1954-2018) 64.He born in Guma, West Bengal, India

He was well known for Hindustani classical music, Pop music, Jazz, Indian music, singer.

1982–2018 Aziz made his film debut from Bengali language film, Jyoti. He came to Mumbai in 1984,His first Hindi film was ‘Amber’ in the year 1984.

 

Aziz started out his musical career as a singer in the restaurant Ghalib in Kolkata. He got a break threw when the music director Anu Malik got him to sing the song Mard Tangewala for the movie Mard,super hit number starring Bollywood Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan, and was patronised by leading music directors including Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Rahul Dev Burman, Naushad, O. P. Nayyar, Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Raamlaxman, Ravindra Jain, Usha Khanna, Anand-Milind, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin Lalit, Anu Malik, Damodar Raao, Anand Raj Anand and Aadesh Shrivastava.

Aziz worked in the Odia film industry and has sung several Odia film songs since 1985.He has performed stage shows in India and abroad, and has been nominated twice for best male playback singer award. Mohd. Aziz was very close to Laxmikant Pyarelal; After Laxmi-Pyare, his career went down and other music directors took to other singers such as Udit Narayan and abhijeet.

At his peak, he was considered as junior to Mohammed Rafi. He is one of the rare singers who can sing at the 7th note (saatwan sur) – example being his song, “Sare Shikwe Gile Bhula Ke Kaho“. Laxmi-Pyare recognised his potential very early and repeated him in a lot of their movies.

He has done playback singing for famous actors such as Rishi Kapoor, Mithun chakraborty, Govinda and several others. In Bollywood, his duets with leading female singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Anuradha Paudwal and Kavita Krishnamurthy have been immensely popular.

 

His collaboration with the musical genius duo Laxmikant Pyarelal has been most successful to the extent in late 1980s and early 1990s.

 

Songs like Teri Bewafai from Ram Avtar and the title track of Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka made him a popular name among the music lovers. His fans cherish every note of songs like Patjhar Sawan Basant Bahar and Pyar Hamara Amar Rahega.

In 2016, Mohammad Aziz posted an emotional video lashing out at Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar for his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In the film, Anushka Sharma had a dialogue that went, “Mohammad Rafi gaate kam the, rote zyada the.”
His song ‘My Name is Lakhan‘ from the movie RamLakhan Singer Mohammed Aziz got tremendous Fame.

Aziz while returning from Kolkata after doing a show, went to serious vomiting and reaching mumbai airport he was taken to Nanavati hospital.Where after sometime latter he died due to Sudden heart attack.But rather unfortunate is no Big Star of Bollywood went to pay regards.Not a single celebrity attended the buried of Mohammed Aziz.In this World no one stands with people who disappeared from CHAMAK DAMAK and they exit the world where no one has time to actually go with a silent person.With a1unitedmedia Vaibhav for imc.ind.in
