Dear sir today i am writing about a man who was real tiger and was a spy of RAW.The man known for bravery intelligence and hard working but he was betrayed by Indian authorities az RAW (research and analysis wing) investigating opernationals. Ravinder Kaushik was born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan on April 11, 1952. He was a famous theater artist and displayed his talent at the national level dramatic meet in Lucknow, which was witnessed by some officials of the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW.There he was contacted and offered a job of being an undercover agent of India in Pakistan. At the age of 23, later was sent to Pakistan on a mission.

Ravinder Kaushik also known az Tiger while writing on him shri Maloy Krishna Dhar, former joint director of the Intelligence Bureau, India’s internal intelligence agency said that the officials would have not cared about his family unless they had a believe that they may create any problem for the country or for their Agency(R&AW). R&AW would have also made sure that they are not in contact with ISI and are used by them against India(because of their anger with the attitude of Indian Government).

Kaushik was known to have learned Urdu, acquainted himself with Muslim religious texts and the terrain of Pakistan during his  the age of 23, he was then sent to Pakistan with a new identity – Nabi Ahmed Shakir. All records of Ravinder Kaushik were destroyed in India. Nabi pursued an LLB from Karachi University and later joined the Pakistani army, where he soon became a Major. There he started passing critical information to the Indian defence forces, being nicknamed ‘The Black Tiger’ for his efforts.
His father, JM Kaushik had served in Indian Air force and after his retirement, was employed with a local textile mill. The family use to live in the old city, close to the mill. After studying in a Government school, Ravinder went to a private college. He was a good actor and was known for his mono-acting and mimicry. “He was one of the most popular students during his school and college days,” says Sukhdev Singh, who had studied with him in the local SD college.“Some time in 1971, he told my nana (Ravinder’s father) that he had got a job in Delhi and had to join immediately”

Ravinder was handpicked by intelligence agencies and was asked to come to Delhi for training. He was given extensive training in Delhi for two years. Sunnat was performed on him to show him as a Muslim. Sir there he passed all the strategies planned by Pakistan during the wars against India.
Pakistan could not win wars in Rajasthan border because of Ravindra Kaushik According to Vashisth,

Soon after joining army he got married to one Amanat his Muslim wife who belong to a well off family. He also became father of a girl.
He lived in Pakistan as permanent citizenship for more than 30 years as an integral citizen and sending their military datas to RAW, by working in own their as a major. But on a day while giving a message to the other raw officer, he unfortunately captured by Pakistani military.Sir from here his destiny betrayed him and there after he started to see the worse of a spy life.

Indian intelligence agencies had sent an agent to get in touch with Black Tiger. But the agent was caught by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and after interrogation, he broke down and revealed his purpose. He identified Black Tiger and Kaushik was arrested immediately. He was awarded death sentence, which he contested in the Supreme Court there. It was converted into a life term. That was in 1990. He was kept in various jails, including Sialkot and Kot Lakhpat.

Sir during his imprisonment, he was able to secretly send out half a dozen letters to his father. “From these letters, we came to know the real life of Ravinder Kaushik..

His cover was blown by none other an Indian intelligence agent Inyat Masiha, to get in touch with Black Tiger. But the agent was caught by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and revealed Ravinder Kaushik’s true identity. It iz also said that the agent crossed the line and went to pakistani camp ISI and gave information about tiger alias ravindra kaushik.

The brave spy managed to secretly send letters to his family in India, from inside the Pakistan jail, which revealed his poor health condition and the trauma faced by him in Pakistani jails. In one of his letters he wrote, “Kya Bharat jaise bade desh ke liye kurbani dene waalon ko yahi milta hai?” (Is this the reward a person gets for sacrificing his life for India?) On 21 November 2001, he succumbed to pulmonary tuberculosis and heart disease in New Central Jail Multan. He was buried behind that jail.

Sir both Kaushik’s brother and ailing 72-year-old mother Amladevi — his father died of shock and heart failure listening the story of his tortured son in Multan jail.

Sir the situation was became worse when indian gov.declined and refused to accept ravindra az an indian agent. They wrote several letters, but got no response apart from foreign ministry despatches that “his case has been taken up with Pakistan

Achievements

He collected and passed much valuable information to India while in Military service in Pakistan.
Every move made by Pakistan army was informed to India and Indian army could resist them because of the information passed on by Ravindra Kaushik.
During his tenure in Pakistan Military from the period from 1979 to 1983 he passed important information to RAW which was of immense value.
In prison he then harshly treated as we know….all (very badly treated) . Ravindra kaushik was waiting for an action of Indian government as they gave a title to him but it was too late, in jail only he died with tuberculosis. Therefore to serve their country he got maximum punishment of torturing on extreme no food and medication as he suffered from asthma to TB and later failure of heart.

No government listen to his wife and his children whom also suffered due to their father’s condition

And in all a brave man died during their best serving for the country.?o information was collected by Indian agencies about his family and tiger Ravindra Kaushik got little recognition from the movie EK THA TIGER.
